What the HELL did they do to Bartz in Anthology??? The white hair, brown skin, purple lips, plucked eyebrows, cheesy beaded headband...he looks like he's just come out of the circus! He is no doubt THE ugliest hero ever in FF history.
I so preferred his old rugged brown-haired look. And I was starting to think Zidane was bad...damn, he's second now!
I generally disliked the "FMV" looks of the characters immensely. Faris looked nothing like a pirate, nor like her wild-haired, purple counterpart. Plus she wouldn't scrape her hair back like that if she didn't want people seeing her face and realising she's a lady. Lenna/Reina was the only one who looked nice in my opinion.

Thats how Amano designed him(the character designer for the first few FF games). Im not too fond of his style myself. I think its ugly.

Yeah - the Amano artwork was the basis for the new FF5 and FF6 FMVs. And I like his style. Although he was only offical designer on the early FFs, he has drawn for all of them. Is Amano Bartz particularly sexy? No. But then again, he traveled around the world with three chicks, and they didn't find him sexy either. . .

Amano's artwork is a bit cluttered at times but I like it, not many draw like this and it has almost always just been concept works. I especially like the FFI drawing.

Well, FFV names are messed up ... lol ... actually Lenna says "Butz...thank you" and "butz......." about 50000 times in the beginning. She likes the whole name followed by ellipsis thing.
