in the beginning they always referred to Quina as "he,his,him" but later they reffered to it as "s\he
On the first disc, in the FMV after the Prima Vista escapes from Alexandria with Garnet, we see Brahne snap her fan in rage.
Seconds later, we see her in a non FMV scene, fanning herself with an unbroken fan.
Can a heart still break after it's stopped beating?
Maybe she has multiple fans like Rude with multiple sunglasses

Squaresoft didn't refer to Quina as any type of Sex, therefore Quina was both at the same time if you really want to think about. They use both sexes because they wanted to see what fanboys like us would say about Quina.
