just look for the small shadow that appears at one of those places, line your hsadow up while flying, and use the dead pepper.

there's one near daguerro, one near the earth shrine, one in the very middle of the map, one behind the mountains at alexandria and one near the Qu's marsh on the forgotten continent, at least i think its the forgotten continent
plus once u found it once it appears on your map

OK, I've had a small problem with this - has this happened to anyone else? I've done all the chocographs from the forest and lagoon, put together the 6 chocograph pieces and got a very beautiful flying chocobo, but for some reason the black shadow spots just aren't there. They seem to have disappeared....

oh it doesn't stay in the same place. you have to search for it. i walays seem to find it near Daguerro the first time i go up, on the island with the forest, but no beach. oh, and once you find it and go back down, it moves
it's location should be on the map
