that gaming does seem like a problem, but I'm in the same boat too, kinda...
I have to play games after i get home from school for atleast an hour or 2, coming into year 11 I have to break that trend.
On the school holidays I really can't find anything to do and find myself hooked on games as well
The best thing to do would be to find other things to occupy yourself with. I work every few days, and although I hate it, It's better than sitting in front of a screen for hours. get a job, go out with friends, study (well that sounds like a barrel-full of fun, but it is time consuming) read, draw, go on this forum, cook, anything. It may be really hard at first to walk away from the console, and when your doing it you know you'd much rather be playing the games, but you wont be, and in time you'll probably build a life around them.
