Horses are to wear pants at all times.
Eating watermelons in the Magnolia Street cemetery is forbidden.
Horses may not be kept in bathtubs.
It is considered an offense to get a tattoo.
No work may be done on Sunday.
An exception to the above law is that light bulbs may be sold.
And then there's this one:
It is illegal to give or receive oral sex in South Carolina.
Originality is good, kids.
When i lived in Lousiana in the 70's we had a blue law where it was illegal to sell anything on Sunday but groceries
These are some weird ones from my home state, Florida;
It is illegal for an unmarried woman to parachute on Sundays.
Also having sex with a porcupine is illegal. (I've never seen porcupines in the wild here..)
It is illegal to have cottage cheese on Sunday after 6 pm.
We're a bunch of freaks down here...

In Georgia it is illegal to purchase alcohol from stores on Sunday, yet you can drink it in commercial restaurants.
I don't know if any of these are specifically true or not, but apparently they were placed over a hundred years ago and have never been changed, so technically are still in place...

In Switzerland it's illegal for males to stand up when doing the toilet after 10.00 pm ... Or back in Nazi Germany it was illegal to call a horse Adolf.
Most of the dumb laws as far as I know were put in place long ago and never changed, nor from what I know are they inforced.
One that I always found funny(though unsure if it is actually on the books) was in Indiana(I believe) it is considered statuatory rape if a male over the age of consent has a female passenger under the age of consent in his car without her shoes or socks on. Or something to that effect.
For some funny ones you can look at www.dumblaws.com.... Don't know how valid they are, but they make for a good laugh at least.
