The one reason why I didn't like this game was because it was too hard- all I wanted to do was get to the 1000 words cut scene, and the game doesn't exactlt tell you what to do next! PAIN IN THE ASS!!! Did anyone else think this too?

No, I never had that problem. I think you may have found it difficult because you're used to the previous games which were very linear. FFX-2 gives you a bit more flexibility, and this obviously caused some problems for you.
I worked my way through all the locations that weren't Hotspots before advancing the story. This meant I got almost 85% on my very first playthrough.
No, ffx-2 was one of the easiest FF games ever, and actually they do tell you what to do @_@

FFX-2 was one of the easiest (if not the easiest) rpgs I've ever played, I always knew where to go and never had to change my parties setup that I felt like using for the moment for any boss that I remember. I never actually beat Trema, but that's cause I got bored of the tower after beating Chac, and I think I got killed by Paragon once and it was too much of a pain to play again (his attack did over 10000 to all) so maybe there's a little challenge there but not in the actual game.

Well to each their own. But i found the game unchallenging, except for the stupid zanarkand monkey mate matching game, i hate the monkeys

by the way, FFCC was alot easier.
mr dwarf cant talk about it being easy, he used catnip.
i didnt use catnip on any of the bosses/enimies on the game in my first playthrough and this game is the easiest FF ive ever played. without catnip its still the easiest FF and the secret superbosses on this game are jokes compared to most others. i meant worst FF and assuming i used catnip to complete it first time is offensive. i have 90%+ completion and without catnip. ive not played FFCC. catnips just another thing that makes the game easier than it already is. and most people havent completed it 100% without catnip and still find it difficult to get 100% even with catnip.

I actually found the game a bit too easy for me. I finished it in a day once. (no sidequests or anything though..)
