Does This Look Infected? was a fantasic rock/pop album. The rest is either too poppy for me or just not my thing.

I heard them live at a festival over 4 years ago and in my opinion they were terrible.
I find it hard to believe that they're from a town that is only an hour or so away from me.

Say, to those that own a couple of their albums, is the one entitled "All Killer No Filler" a good CD to buy??

It's a very pop-rock affair, you'll probably like it if you like Blink 182 and Green Day. Does This Look Infected is more of a hard rock affair, but still quite poppish. It's a nice mix. I haven't heard the new one, but I hear it's a bit more metal than the other two.

Exactly. I gotta say though, they have amusing music videos. Their video for Hell Song makes me cry with laughter.

Yeah, Blink 182 is my favorite band as you can see from the sig. And I find Greenday awsome but not favorite...

Greenday, Sum 41 and Blink 182 are all awful, commercialised, artificial American pop-rock. If you want real punk, try the Sex Pistols, The Clash or The Damned (but not the Ramones, cos they suck).
If that stuff's to punk-y for you, try somthing like the Buzzcocks. Not as punk, but still good.
Or, if you insist on newer punk, Bad Religion or one of those bands. Not as good as the old punk bands, but not as bad as the pop-crap of Greenday.

That's the one I have, and personally I think it's horrible.

I agree with Miriel. They really are pretty damn blah, in my opinion.

Really, even Fat Lip. It's a catchy song, and don't let some bitter old music elitist like me ruin your enjoying of it. However, that song is about as creative as the album gets.

It's short and shallow. I used to be a huge fan of Blink 182, and even then I was disappointed by the album. It doesn't mean you won't enjoy it - I do admit that I got some enjoyment out of it. After a few listens, though, I just started realizing how little there was to it.

sum 41 is my favorite band listen to "the hell song" "in too deep" " motivation" and "still waiting" there my favorites. there songs are so much better compared to some bands and they dont sound as bad as some bands do live. ever listen to fall out boy live? talk about the worst sounding band ever live. and "fat lip" was the song that got me into listening to music and buying cd's. there songs are a lot more up beat then the emo songs that are takeing over. also the song "no reason" is really good.

    What are you talking about?
    Bad Religion isn't new.
They've been around since the 80's!
