Default Best Final Fantasy composition ever?

Which compositions do you consider the best ever written by Nobuo Uematsu?
    I think it's these ones:

    Prologue
    Terra's Theme
    Aeris' Theme

All of them are downright excellent, and provide an incredibly great atmosphere, especially the Prologue, my all-time favourite.
It's just so damn sweet, that melody along with those wonderful bass lines. =)

Did he write the opening for FFX-2 ?
I just love that piano melody (Eternity) ! The rest of FFX 2 pretty much s*cks except for "1,000 words" but that one is great!

I could be wrong, but I don't think he composed anything for FFX-2. It certainly explains why the soundtrack is utter crap.

As for my favorite Uematsu tunes:
    Terra's theme
    Celes
    Dancing Mad
    Johnny C Bad
    Cyan's theme
    Aeris' theme
    Suteki Da Ne
    To Zanarkand

There are probably many more I'm not thinking of at the moment.

The opening one - Eternity - is not that bad. IMHO it is almost as good as "To Zanarkand", though a bit more repetitve, minimalist, Phillip Glass style.

    Check it out here http://www.bluelaguna.net

The rest I agree: utter crap!

Yeah, I'll agree the Piano at the beginning is pretty good, but I don't think I'd put it up there with To Zanarkand, but it's definitely the only redeeming track I can think of in that game.

Yeah, like I said it is repetitive, I usually don't go much for minimalism and repetition but I played the darn game so much that I ended up liking that piano!
