ok, apparently here in the Uk it is illegal to stand within 100 yards of the rulling monarch without socks on.

so anyone know of any other bizarre laws?

In the UK, if your pregnant - on Sundays your allowed to pee inside a policemans hat :O

Its an offence to knock a policemans hat off. Even if its a sunday, your pregnant, and you intend to pee in it.

In Washington state, it is illegal to buy a matress or any kind of meat on a Sunday.

I have never checked if these are true but here are ones I've heard of:

Somewhere it's illegal to throw pickles at a trolley cart.

In NYC you have to pay a $350 for setting off a nuclear device.

And the last one I think was found by a friend doing a research project:

In Oklahoma its illegal to take a bite out of someone elses hamburger.
In Georgia its illegal for a barber to advertise his prices.
