Dagger
So I just started this game, and I was wondering...
When you name Garnet "Dagger," is that what you are going to be calling her for the rest of the game, or is it just temporary? Cause if so I'll want to go back and change her name to something else (or keep it the same, if i can) before I get too far because "Dagger" is a crappy excuse for a name.
That'll be her name for the rest of the game. The only way to change it later in the game is (SPOILER)to show the Namingway card to a guy in Daguerro and he will be inspired and let you rename your characters.
Yeah, it will be. Although other characters refer her to as Garnet, or Princess.
Can a heart still break after it's stopped beating?

I personally like it.
In battle and menu she will be referred as her nickname but story-wise she will be called both Garnet and her nickname.
I used that rename guy to change her name to Sarah after doing that sidequest
Better yet, when your first prompted to change her name to Dagger, change it to Garnet.

lol i did that once it was so funny its like 'we can't go around calling you garnet, people would realise. so we'll call you garnet instead'
