And now, please give a warm welcome to the presenter of this Ciddie, Chris.
I'm going to support Jack because I'm supposed to be going out with him tonight but I lost my phone so I hope he comes on EoFF. I am making this information public so you can all back me up when he screams abuse at me!
Best Poet
“If there’s anything you can expect from life is unpredictability. Life is always full of surprises, it changes in seasons like winter to summer, but keeps steady if you know what to expect from it. Words are a wonderful way of expressing ones feelings; but don’t ever expect that the words you write people will understand. Accept the things you can not change, have courage to change the things you can, and have wisdom enough to know the difference. Deliver your words and they shall be heard; just make it worth our while”.
Best Poet, hmm…difficult to chose rightful winner. Poems are highly personal and often a way of unleashing private thoughts. I don’t know what the perfect poem is, but I do know that people sympathize with topics they can relate to. The gift of writing comes by very rarely but when it does it’s often not presented or explored to the extend it deserves. To some writing is fun and not taken very seriously and to some it’s the only of dealing with core issues, either way, the gift of writing should not be ignored or analyzed. Analyzing often takes away the art of writing and leaves the bitter and boring surface, explore the text and make of it what you can. As I’ve said, poetry is art and a poems beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.
Wow, that was beautiful, Chris.
Those who didn't make it...

A battle of the lower case usernames, themagicroundabout takes on the only member to have won this Ciddie (on three occasions, too), eestlinc. Will themagicroundabout overcome the odds while so many have failed to do so before him?
A poetic speech for the best poet! And...?
Wow, this'll be pretty close. Go elsie and tmra!
And the Ciddie goes to...
eestlinc
