Winner Revelations Thread

Hello ladies and gentleman, good morning, good afternoon and good evening to you all and welcome to the official winner revelations thread for the ninth Bi-Annual Ciddies. These Ciddies have been brought to you by various sponsors including the Ciddies Committee, Eyes on Final Fantasy Forums and Chatroom Community, The Cookie Monster Smilie and A Picture Of A Turkey Hitting A Dog. As is beomcing a tradition, all four records were broken this time around when it comes to member participation, with more nominations, nominators, votes and voters than ever before. And that's not all - this time member participation has been brought to a whole new level, with members being given the chance to present Ciddies to the winners. Of course, this means that once agian, these are the biggest Ciddies to date!

I'll be your host for this thread, so you can expect yet another very drawn-out Ciddies revelations thread (these threads are known to take at least twelve hours). With the help of the presenters, I'm hoping for a good crowd - I'm relying on you guys to keep posting your thoughts and whatnot, so get to it! No double posting should be done by any members - and that includes me. I would hope that you can all get into the spirit of things and keep posting, or else we might have a few quiet spots.

The Ciddies will be revealed in reverse order from #50 to #1. In the first post for each Ciddie, I'll be giving you a bit of detail as to who won the award last time, who was the leading nominee (by amount of nominations) and who our Ciddies Prediction Party members predicted to win - a big thanks to all seventeen of them for providing their thoughts to help make things interesting. After that post, the presenter will give a short or long speech - there will be a variety of them - and then I will reveal "Those that didn't make it", leaving just 2-3 members with the possibility of winning. After that, the winner will be announced... that means at least four posts for every Ciddie! Man, this thing is gonna be huge...

This Ciddies Revelations thread also sees the introduction of a new pair of awards - the Highwind Awards, one for Forums Staff and one for Site Staff. The unique thing about these awards is that they are voted on purely by the staff associated with them, and I'm sure the winners will take great pride in receiving them. These are in acknowledgement of the fact that a lot of the work done by the staff of EoFF is not seen by the general public, and only the staff can give a fully informed opinion on how well their peers are doing overall.

Now, one last thing - this will probably take me a hell of a long time, so there will be breaks throughout the thread where we can all go and eat, drink, sleep, that sort of thing. Well, I'm hoping it won't come to needing to take a break to sleep, but you never know - it's happened before! So please bear with me as I've already been up in the early hours of last night fixing up a lot of the stuff I need to post in this thread, let alone this morning.
