Something very old ... Genie? Merlin? ... ... ... FAIRY GODMOTHER!!!???
Aeons of rightful kings,
Mmmm, sounds like Merlin, or Genie ... oh, wait, merlin's already guessed!
Now under the ladder I reside,
Genie is a summon .. and the summon list KIND OF looks like a ladder?

... I don't know. He is, um, underground for a long time though.
