EDIT: On blink 182, avril lavigne etc - I was brought(sp) up to believe that they're not punk. however, whether they are punk or not? both sides have equally strong arguments, and it's not my place to argue. well afi is radio ready, antiflag changed there record label, the adolscents are nazis, the unseen were on mtv, the casualties have there own hair doers. there only in it for the money. the casualties arnt punk. but i wouldnt mind seeing them, it wouldnt be a bad show

You have to remember that AFI's sound has changed enormously since they started making music back in the mid-nineties. Their early stuff has a very punk edge to it, while their newer stuff is just weird and cool.

I love Bad Religion. They can do no wrong for me. I'm also now getting into Flogging Molly, because it's a nice mix of different sounds I already liked. I've always wanted to try Dropkick Murpheys and The Dead Kennedys, but I don't really know where to start.

Also, I really, really dislike the Distilles. Really.

AFI were probably one of the best punk bands around, but then StS came and they are now one of the best rock bands around. >_>
