yes it can indeed! infact it can rip any str movies from any ps1 game demos included!

What you found was was a movie from the Demo disk for ff8 trust me I remember playing the ff8 demo and that is exactly what its like

That Psx Mc thing doesn't rip music along with the FMV

Is there anything that can also rip sounds/music from Ps1 games?

i have a demo for ff8 and it doesnt have rinoa in the party and i dunno about the quistis gun thing (i never used to get to the beach, i always used to die cus i was like a noob and didnt know when to run but now i do) but i do remember the some of the gfs i know there was ifrit and quezacotl on some dudes (cant remember if it was ifrit = squall or ifrit = zell) but i do remember i think squall had leviathan and seifer had shiva and brothers and i think squall had bahamut aswell.

I played the FF8 PC Demo, which started right after the dance FMV. You've got Leviathan there. This demo was created after the full version for the PS was released, I believe.

cool sounds interesting.....so why did they bother making this demo with all the wrong characters and stuff? why didnt they just set the demo later on in the game?

hmm...well welcome to eoff. I joined here July, and well, the ff8 forum isn't really people yelling at eachother, its people calmly explaining and debating wacked-out "theories" and everyone else yelling at Future Esthar. Didn't take long for me to get those FE jokes...
And does it involve the garden crashing around? I saw a part of it somewhere but i never saw it in the game...
