secret FMV found!

does anyone remember the ff8 preview disk that you got with the platium version of ff7? it had 2 movies on it: the first one was a alternate version of the opening seq and the other was the dancing scene with squall and rinoa. right? well guess what!? there is another fmv pesent on the disk! i found it whilst scanning the disk with a ps1 fmv/picture/music ripper called psx mc. its basically a movie/trailer of the dollet scene. except it has some pretty big descepencies in it. for a start everyone is in their normal costumes instead of the seed uniform like they are meant to be! secondly rinoa is present in the team eventhough you dont meet her until you get to timber thirdly it isnt quistis who shoots the robot at the end before you escape its just a soldier with a green uniform! and after all that you also see the team using leviathan! it doesnt make any sense. but it must be a pre-completion fmv which shows how much squaresoft changed the story!

I've done the same thing as you, and I haven't found anything like that.

Is yours NTSC or PAL?

Sounds like a demo release rather than a reworking of the storyline. In the FFVII demo you were given Cloud, Barret and Tifa (?) to complete the first Mako reactor, which obviously wasn't possible in the actual game. Nice find though.
