Dunno about Limit type moves... but FFVII's Shiva Materia Summon is pretty cool!

There's just something special about watching someone turn around and fire lasers over her glasses.

If you want to make a topic to add in the others, there's that idea. I can assume that they weren't included because there wasn't as much detail in the others. I like the other games, and the spell animations and all, but they're a different type of animation.

I like the omnislash/lionheart type move, most summons are beautiful to watch and most other limits are pretty cool too.
And the chocobo summon beasts.
This style of question really does only fit VII-X because they have stronger graphics.
But it would be nice if people didn't actively say not to include them...

I thought Yojimbo and Bahamut in Final Fantasy X looked really, really good, but since it was a PS2 game, and not a PS1 game, that's sort of a given. Probably my two favorite looking summons in the series anyway.

Limit-Break: Squall's "Lionheart" goes for the gold.
Overdrive: either Bahamut's "Mega Flare" or Yojimbo's "Zanmato".
Eidolon: Madeen or Bahamut, again.

I really don't care from what game or anything just the attack. Me personally I like Yojimbos Zanmato attack

I'd say Omnislash is the most aesthetically pleasing. Cloud does a little posturing with wild sound effects as the camera pans around him. Then he slashes, what, fourteen times while jumping and dashing all over the place, then leaps straight up and hangs in the air for a moment for the sake of drama before falling down with the big explodey slash.
