Thats not what they said. They said "if you had to chose between having one arm or one leg which one and why?" You could interpret that as meaning if you chose one arm you have no legs and the same the other way around. Or that if you chose one arm you will still have two legs and the same the other way around.
This thread got so confusing it's hard for me to say. o_o But assuming it's "What would you rather cut off? Your arm or your leg." I would choose my arm. I would still be able to play NES games thanks to the Nintendo Revolution Controller Add-On thing. (It's the thing with 2 buttons and an analog stick.)

One leg. I can deal with hopping around easier than the possibility of:
a) Maybe having to learn to be a lefty, and:
b) Being unable to play my games.
