Ive said exactly the same thing to my doctor. That it is physically impossible to go to work etc and this injection is what she's suggested. My doctor told me that you can't take the pill permanently to stop periods. But lots of women tell me that thats not true because they have done it. But doctors don't like stopping women's periods because they see it as needless expense so pretend that there is no way of doing it permanently. But I refuse to be fobbed off with this nonsense and have told them they either find me something to stop them permanently or I want my ovaries removed. Which would actually cost them more money so if there is a way to do it I will soon know.
