iPod's have good memory, but are prone to becoming screwed up.
In my personal expreience, never get a cheap Japanese iPod rip-off. They don't work well at first. Then they just don't work.
Theres that new sony walkman , looks good, but is it in your price range, naaah
Creative makes some good media players (Zen, Nomad), but check reviews to find out which ones are the best to get before you buy one.
isnt the old ipod (the one before nano) $50
I got a 500 Meg Mp3 player for £60/$120.
LET THE HAMMER FALL
I got a 20 GB Creative Zen Touch for $200.
How is the Zen, interface, battery life, ease of use? that kind of stuff? Are you happy with it?Originally Posted by Kirobaito
Woah, come on. I got just a little mp3 player for £40. A year ago.
$200 is a lot for spending. You can get a big one now for way less than that.
One good drop on the floor and it's bye-bye to your iPod's screen...Originally Posted by Traitorfish

Ha! Regret's just another thing to have you think so you won't make the same mistake again.
The battery life is wonderful. It'll go 24 hours, which is more than what I need. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge. As far as interface and ease of use goes, I preferred my old Motorola m500. The design is this:Originally Posted by fantasyjunkie

With the || as the scrolling device. The less sensitivity, the easier it is to use BY FAR. I still have some trouble with it on low, but I've also only had the thing for a few days. I'll probably like it the more I use it, but for now I like my Motorola more, which just had a stick.
I was most impressed with the price and the hard drive size (20 GB for $200 is a fantastic deal). I got mine tax-free from www.newegg.com.
