How many are available in Emerald? I remember I really disliked the first GBA one they made (Ruby and Sapphire was it?) because you could only catch limited ones, and pretty much none of the really good old ones were available.

Pokemon Crystal represents the pinacle of pokemon-dom. I actually built up my cute little cindaquill to a level 99 typhlosion. I probably could have spent the time a little more profitably studying or working, or studying how to work, or working to study, or counting the ceiling tiles in my dorm room, but I couldn't help myself. It was fun.

Nintendo always makes fun games. They may not be as visually appealing or as big as Sony or Microsuck, but they're always fun. and you can play them till you're sick of them, put them aside, come back years later (in the case of the NES) and the games are still fun!

pokemons not that bad apart from the infinate items trick in blue and red and the copy trick in gold and silver.

ps i also found a pokemon that at level 100 can beat level 100 mewtow or any other psickik pokemon and a lot of other types too.

pps it also happens to be my favarout pokemon ill give tip in guess misty has it.

I can still remember getting Silver in April a few years back... never played anything like it again. Wonderful stuff.

Haunter was my favourite.

I think I played these until the first GBA ones (Gold/Silver?). They were pretty suit, but eventually I got bored of them. May go back and pick them up again sometime, for old times sake.

Venusaur. Good mixture of offense and defense, plus in Red/Blue he could beat, like, 5 Gym Leaders or something, no problem.
