I've noticed that it seems that most 5-11 year olds love Pokemon, 12-15 year olds hate it and diss it whenever it comes up in everyday conversation, and 16+ year olds like it and like talking about it.
As for me, I believe I still have my old Red version gathering dust in my GBA case. For favorite Pokemon, I'll simply do it for each set of games.

i loved the games, spent hours on PKMN stadium.... spent nights catching a pokemon i wanted badly.
the anime was awesome at first.... but then they really never got to the main goal, puked on the idea of it, then decided to go on a mindless romp of pointless travel.

... You know, I suddenly have the urge to play pokemon.
Bah, all those new edition pokemon cards and new pokemons.. I say they shoulkd have gone with the 150 first. well maybe 200 but all those new editions of the cards got me confused.
I only REALLY loved Blue version, Yellow a bit less..Gold was alright, but it got stolen, (although I got another copy for christmas, yay) Silver totally owned Gold, Crystal bored me, Sapphire really bored me, LeafGreen bored me and irritated me with how much they changed the original, Emerald was alright, bu boring, besides, it got stolen (Bloody damn thieves and stealing Pokemon related stuff!)

Now heres something funny... I have all these official Pokemon strategy guides..Im missing a few, but I have most of the ones releed in New Zealand, and their all by the same company..the RBY guide is falling apart from UTTER overuse, and the GSC Pokedex Volume is too, but the RBY one is all cellotaped together XD

I'm getting the new "Fire Red" version (it's an updated version of the Red game) and I just realized that they got rid of the Mew glitch and the Missingno. glitch as well.
