Hey is the Ultima Beam considered Hidden Element? If it does, then combining Elemental+non Elemental magic materia (Transform, etc...) can be used to absorb it. Well if its wrong I dunno the answer.
Correct. Any non-elemental materia linked with an Elemental will protect against the Hidden element. However, it isn't too useful as the only attack in the game that uses the Hidden element is Ultima Weapon's Ultima Beam.
