Do you prefer the 'jump in the leader's back pocket' style of FFVI and FFVII, the 'follow the leader' style of FFVIII, or the 'let's have a cutscene whenever we need to talk to party members' style in FFX?
Also, does anyone know what style FFXII will be adopting?
I prefer the 'follow the leader' style, but I think it could be improved slightly so there isn't as much glitching. This style also worked well in the Grandia series, but avoiding the enemies with a string of four characters got quite tricky in the final dungeons of the game.

they also did that in Wild Arms...but i guess it would be a hassle having to switch everyone to get the right person, especially because of the loading times.
