The corset shows off a high level of cleavage and this was not considered to be at all indecent, quite the opposite. My point being that going some way back the english weren't entirely prudish as suggested.

This thread has given me far more information than I would ever want or expect from Eyes on Final Fantasy.

Thongs = unsexy, <i>most</i> of the time. They are only sexy on an already sexy girl. However, they don't really make said sexy girl more sexy, it's just that the girl's pre-existing sexiness cancels out the unsexiness of the thong. Or something. So really, it's best to just stay away from them unless you are wearing pants that would show a pantyline or if you really find them <i>that</i> comfortable, which I can't really imagine but I've never tried one on so I wouldn't know from first-hand experiance.
