So when you play the FFIV Advance ending the first time through, which four characters will you use in your party, and for future validity (after the game is released), which four characters did you use the first time you beat the game?

On my first playthrough, I plan to use the original 5; Cecil, Rosa, Kain, Rydia, and Edge.
I want to use FuSoYa simply because he can be a mop... but since he's already on the moon... I guess I'll have to choose from crappy characters like Yang, Tellah, Porom, Palom, and Cecil. What a stupid party, I know. I may change one of the twins out for some spoony bard.
Edge, Spoony Bard, Yang, Kain and Cecil. That sounds like a right sausage fest doesn't it?
RIP - Magic.
I played a few times through where I hacked Edward in for Cecil. I made him ambidexterious and made harps 1 handed. He's not bad with some of the higher level daggers (which go unused if he isn't around).
By the end I went nuts and gave him an unlimited number of those Deathwind Surikens in each hand. Haha.

We all know that the Thief is the superior Final Fantasy figure. <-----PERIOD
Why the hell would you use Edward? He sucks, and the bastard hides every time he's low on HP.
Why the twins? You already have a better White Wizard (Rosa) and a better Black Wizard (Rydia) that can also call Summons, and the Twin attack won't be worth using both of them, especially when you have Holy and Flare/Meteo.
The first time through, I'll probably use the originals. After that, I probably won't change it much, unless I can get Golbez.

Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Edward SUCKS?! Seriously, in the past 14 years I never once noticed! *sarcasm mode off*Originally Posted by Sasquatch

Porom is actually pretty much a better White Wizard. Palom learns his spells earlier than Rydia, but he cannot summon. Boast can be rather useful though.Originally Posted by Sasquatch

Woops, think I cannot have that? =P
Too bad though, huh. I'd choose the same thing but, Cecil has to be there so it'd be:Originally Posted by KoShiatar

I'd have to go with Rydia, Rydia, Rosa, Rydia, and Rydia. Though, I might have to replace a Rydia (maybe Cecil, Golbez, Kain...FuSoYa?), because that way I could have a Rydia in the middle and on top and bottom. And Rosa's only there to heal.
I just like when she's in the middle and steps up to summon, and she's like the tip of the spear, the top of the triangle, that the characters make. I'm just weird like that, I guess.
How is Porom a better White Wizard than Rosa? And which spells does Palom learn earlier than Rydia? I've never used them in their higher levels, so I wouldn't know. I've also never used Boast too much, but I highly doubt that could be more useful than Summon.
How fantastic will it be if Golbez becomes a playable character.
Solo Edward. Seriously, I'm going to do the Final Dungeon AND all the optional dungeons with no one but Edward at the helm. Spoons at the ready, it's time to get some Bard!

There is no signature here. Move along.
you'll end up deader than dead. Edward's HP is simply horrendous.
