    Default Desktop Manager (MSVDM)

Hey, I recently downloaded the Desktop Manager from the Microsoft site, and, I really don't have a clue what it does. There's 4 desktops I can click on, but what is this used for?

You can open windows on the virtual desktops, so that when you switch from one to the other, only the windows that were opened on that particular desktop will show up. You could open all the work related windows on one desktop, eoff and whatever sites you check in another, then you can switch between seeing only work related windows, or eoff/web windows.

    And then there is Death

Try opening a window with one desktop selected, then click another desktop, and open some more windows, then change back to the first or go to another one

The one I used from the WinXP Powertoys sucked though, to be honest Though I suppose it might be useful at work, you can hide games/browsers on some desktops and work on others

Problems playing downloaded videos? Try CCCP
