Well, it does make sense to say "Happy Holidays", since there are multiple holidays in this month, but "Holiday Trees"?![]()

Maybe it's just me, but I thought "happy holidays" was started along time ago, to also include New Years, considering New Year's is like a week after christmas...and you don't see most people often enough to wish them happiness for both.
Grab the opportunities life hands you, that's my motto!
I'm no christian, but I still think it's silly. Christmass isn't a religious holiday anymore (for most) anyways, so there's no reason to change it. None will make me say holiday tree instead of christmass tree, thats for sure.
*giggles at the thought of 'Holiday Trees'*
Burn them all, I say. Burn them all.

I agree with Raistlin, though the "War on Christmas" is crap.Originally Posted by Raistlin

So while I don't think anyone really cares (except, of course, the Christians), I can also see the reasoning behind changing it.

Happy Holidays is still religous- it means 'Happy Holy Days'. It's as meaningful as Christmas is!
