How can FF1 be not so FF it is the original so the only way for that to be possible would be for the other FF's to not be FF.

Its because Final in the name was originally meant to simbalize the en of square, but since the game actually saved the company, It turned out the final fantasy wasn't so final. This was explained a little erliear in the thread
