Of course, I'm just happy as long as I get Blessing of Salvation so I can Backstab crit lolz.

EDIT : Warrior Paladins are called Valordins, Crit SoC Paladins are called Critadins (or Failadins).
Yeah, I hear that. I jumped on Pallies as my first option. Soloing was great, and early partying was great fun, but as I moved on and read more about the late-game, they got less and less fun.

Shadow Priests melt faces. I've seen Shadow Priests who may well have been tougher than Johnny Cash. I sadly doubt Pallies are going to get that kind of arse-kickery, ever. =(

Oh, didn't know they were called Valordins, thanks =)

Haha, yes, it was nice playing as a Sorceress. xD

Anyway, Diablo 2 is quite nice. Even though it does get repetitious after a while, it's surprisingly addicting when you try to get all those rare and set items and whatnot. The story is pretty good, the score fits to the levels (I especially like the grand epic music in Act V), and I like the graphics too: the moors, caves, deserts, tombs, rainforests, cities, tundras and such are quite detailed and are still nice to see. Some of the bosses look fantastic, and the random special monsters are quite interesting too. Voice acting isn't bad either, and the ending of Lord of Destruction wasn't a clichéd one.

The cutscenes still look very good and have that epic feel in them, and they also move the plot forward in a nice way. It's nice trying out different classes and then trying to have different combinations of skills to see how it affects the gameplay. And of course it's always fun to play with friends either in local area network or on the net and really get teamwork going.

I still play this game every once in a while, and it's still as good as it was back when I got it. It shows that Blizzard's games can remain interesting after all these years have passed, and I hope we'll be seeing Diablo 3 someday.

    We'll never see Diablo 3.

Most of the Diablo team left Blizzard, a lot of them forming Arena.net and making Guild Wars.

Well that's sad. It would've been interesting to see how the story might've continued. At least there'll be other titles, though.

I should really try to play Diablo 2 with an Amazon more often. That's unfortunately the character class I haven't used as much as the others, but I'll remedy that sometime soon. xD

notice its called diablo 2: lord of destruction.

but it ends with Baal as the final boss.

Blizzard was smart enough to add in a special hidden sub-quest.

you have to perform a ritual on hell diffuculty to summon an Uber Diablo.... interesting

Yes, it's called Diablo 2 : Lord of Destruction and Baal is the Lord of Destruction.

I don't particularily see the problem with him being the final boss.

And the D-Clone is only available online, a server cluster has to have sold 50 Stone of Jordan to an NPC and then the D-Clone is summoned.

well if they only put baal as the final boss, the name would have nothing involving what the game is built around.

D-Clone is a differant boss isnt it, isnt that there an army of them?

Diablo 2 : Lord of Destruction is the Expansion pack though, the original Diablo 2 has plenty to do with Diablo, chasing him all the way to hell, with the hero KILLING him, it's kind of hard for him to resurface when dead.

I fail to see your point, the original has you chasing Diablo, the expansion follows his death and you're chasing Baal, the names make sense. It's like complaining about a game called "Big Plane Racing" only having aeroplanes to control and not boats.

    That's because Mephisto is WHACK.

Lord of Hate? What the hell is that supposed to be?

I bet his brothers picked on him, I mean he DID have like, no legs.

Oh yeah, an upbringing like his would definately generate alot of hate towards the world.

Ironically Mephisto is the oldest of the three.
