yea, and you can't enter a birthday without a year either. I think you can enter your birthday but hide it, though.
It used to not need a birthday...and then it used to accept a birthday without a year...now it requires all of them. Next up, credit card numbers.
I'm pretty sure vB has asked for a birthday, or at least the birthyear since version 2, since it's required for COPPA, whereas now you are required to input a birthday and not click on "born before 'some date here 13 years ago'" or "born after 'same date as before'".

Under "Edit Profile" you can hide your DoB and age.

Someone asked about this earlier. If you have any real problem with your birthyear being seen but not your birthday, just put in the correct day and month and make the year something obviously untrue.

That was me. I jokingly put my age at 85 years old, but I think I'll just keep it (as if I had a choice)
