See, I was raised with a *thwap* now and then. That's just how old fashioned Mexicans are... It's the same way my mom was raised and my grandparents, and we've all turned out alright.

I was watching this George Lopez standup special on Comedy Central the other day, and everything he was talking about is so true. *thwap* Why you crying? My mom and I kept waiting for him to say, "I'll give you something to cry about!" I guess you wouldn't really understand if you weren't Mexican.
