The screenshots look very good, and damn, I know it's hard to make a game for RM2k, but I think the reason why people laughed is because that is FF4, not FF2. Oh, and Chaos laughed at something else, not you.

I don't have those RPG maker kits, but I do have RPG Maker for the PSX, and RPG Maker 3 for the PS2. Needless to say they're difficult to work with and totally make my head hurt, though I work with them anyway. *needs a PS2 keyboard*
I heard you could copy FFX using a cd or dvd writer. Youu'd need ot get your mates to do the voice acting though/
