i think there are alot of cool people and stuff in fft heres my party just began about half way through chapter 3
1: ramza: samurai
2: knight
3: summoner
4: mustadio: engineer
5: agrais: holy knight
they are pretty good but tell me when do u get orlandu!

You get him in Chapter 4 in the end of the Zeltenia Castle battles. I know I spelled that wrong.

Brave/Faith: 93/97 (Yes I'm sort of slacking off in terms of finishing raising his Brave level)

Secondary Ability: Math Skill
Reaction: Blade Grasp
Support: Magic Attack UP

(Do I even need to tell you how absurdly powerful bare-handed is? Nowadays I usually get 750+ damage, and that's with two strikes. Too easy to become powerful.)
However, I changed his class because he seemed to be upsetting the balance, and I really needed a true tank, so...

Still trying to decide who my fourth and fifth members should be. I mean, I like Cloud and all, but his Soldier abilities are hardly practical. Though I could say the same about Ramza in most cases...

secondary skill:(depends either basic skill for accumulate and all that stuff or white magic)
reaction:blade grasp (oddly enough)
support:two hands (samurai 900jp)
movement:move +1 (...... i need to be a theif for move plus 2)
equipment: platinum sword (2 handed), circlet, platina armor, bracer
ill write more in a little bit i have to go memorize everything in my party i have red chocobos!

Yeah, as the poster above stated, you get Orlandu in Chapter Four after the battles at Bethla Garrison. (Actually she said Zeltennia, but it's Bethla Garrison I think.) No work needed other than progress in the storyline. Anyway, leveling in general became easy once I got abilities like Frog and Speed Break. Just kill all the enemies except one, Speed Break/Frog/Sleep the last enemy, frog your entire party, and just keep whacking the enemy (Or yourself) for experience and job points (With Gained JP Up equipped) Of course you could just leave that enemy messed up and Accumulate your way up there, but special classes don't have much like it.Originally Posted by dragon_slayer789

Oh, and I just found out something interesting although it's undoubtedly been listed somewhere. Abandon, DOUBLES your Evasion. If you have 50% physical evasion and 50% magic evasion, they'll become 100%. The only downside is attacks from the back will still be highly accurate.
This is achieved easiest and cheapest with Aegis Shield/Feather Mantle.
With 100% magic evasion you get the best of both worlds, positive spells can work on you with high Faith, negative spells will typically just outright fail. :)
Admittedly, I've only tried it with the Escutcheon (Ultimate) though. I'm unsure what the results of shared evasion would be, although it would be quite close in terms of physical, and 100% in terms of magical because the Aegis Shield is a flat-out 50%.

the materia blade isnt even thT good i spent like 20 minutes tryin to get to the top of the dang mountain and it sucked like real bad finallly i just changed clioud into a knight so he could weild the excalibur and that gives him haste so he will lvl up faster.
but his soldier abilities are pretty good

use teleport u can move anywhere on the board but there is a down side ill let u figure it out but use it believe me
