I think the staff member who removed it should be taught how to use simple bb code that would clear it without getting rid of the actual code. Or just fired, I would be fine with that too.

Hey, Kishi, are YOU the one that wasn't properly closing out the comment tags in sigs? I ran into a few that were messing up threads because the comment tags weren't closed.

Kishi does close his tags correctly. What is not done correctly is when members fix something in their sig after it's been commented out and then do not remove all of the comment out tags before saving their sig again. This is why I am at times reluctant to bother with the tags and just opt for removing the whole sig, although this rarely happens unless it's a case of a sig being over the 50 kb limit. Those are all automatically removed.

I like being able to have a sig. The last forum community I got addicted to only let mods and admins have sigs. It sucked. I appreciate the gift of this ability and follow the rules as best I can. In fact (unlike some people) my sigs are usually way under the limit, instead of hitting every limit to a tee
