Finally got Zanmato! Poss. Spoilers

Zanmato is possible until you p!ss him off!!! i had him preform about 7 in a row once..............after i had spent about ten hours beating mimics out of there gil with Gilionaire!!!!!!!! its an amazing attack (even got him to blow away the dark magus sisters with it) but it takes patience. once you get him on a roll though its well worth the effort!!! and i definitly paid him more than 5 gil!!!

thats impossible... just to let you know... dont try to lie there is a formula that shows his willingness to perform Zanmato and performing it at 5 gil is impossible even if you have 255 compatibility with him

No. It's impossible to get him to Zanmoto CONSISTANTLY everytime with 5 gil.

There's a chance just about any time he could do it, with high enough compatability, ESPECIALLY if you're playing the PAL version of the game.

Also, anima sucks, as her overdrive lacks the multiple hit feature so beloved in PAL ;_;

ive never played PAL but i know for a fact you need to get his willingness to 80+ to perform Zanmato in the U.S. version and at 255 compatability (max) that only adds about 10 willingness so you still need to give him a butt load of gil if you even want a chance...

You shouldn't complain, there's nothing hard enough worth using Zanmato on in the NTSC version anyway.

Is zanmato really so powerful ?? i mean my Yojimbo inficts 99999 damage with Daigoro..i guess i don't need Zanmato after all.

i wasnt complaining i was just saying that i didnt play the pal version so i didnt know the willingness stats for it... you still need it past 99,999 isnt enough to kill crap at the monster arena... in fact the species creation flying warlock is the only monster that would actually kill

I just give him about 3000 gil each time, he sometimes performs it for me sometimes not, he did it two times in a row once.
