"Tie-dus" or "Tee-dus"?

I'd have to agree with mega_tonberry on that one. . .lol. I don't know, not everyone pronounces it the same way. (Depending on the country, or state. . .I know we say things different here in Texas, than someone might say in New York, or Idaho. . .or whatever.)

Just why were we granted to rename him? Didn't the scriptwriters have a hellacious time not having to mention his name once?

And isn't it unrealistic to have gotten to know for years someone without even knowing his name? Tidus never introduced himself like "Hi! Name's Tidus! Nice to meet 'ya!"

I read it as Tie-dus at first but then I came upon the September 2001 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly [EGM] and they stated that it's Tee-duss. So Tee-duss from then on. 'Sides, Wakka from Kingdom Hearts says so too!

wtf is yur peoples problems??? in the square enix website itself the say tidus, even on the commercials!!!! i have proof if u have to b smart about it so ha! they say it that way in kh too, same spellin, same pronounciation!!!
