TEE-dus? Hmm...I coulda sworn it was TIE-dus. Sounds better in my head. And wasn't it the name of a greek God or something?

In kingdom Hearts Wakka pronounces it Tea-dus so tea-dus is correct.
because that is the japanese pronunciation. the american pronunciation makes the name sound different so it doesn't matter how you say it, geez
Tee-dus is the American pronounciation, not the Japanese one. The Japanes pronounciation is tee-da.
I love repeating myself.
no, in american pronunciation it is Tie-dus. we are weird like that. if i took a poll on all the FFX ppl i know(and its more than 50 so shut up), almost all of them would say Tie-dus. it is how we roll here in the US. japanese pronunciation is different. there i mkes the ee sound.
I'm referring to the official American pronounciation. You're referring to a colloquial, incorrect one.
it is correct since this pronunciation is used in a lot of american words. and no, the official pronunciation would make it sound like tidus with the i having the sound like in the word 'pin'
Grammatical conventions are irrelevant. Tee-dus is the official American pronounciation and hence the only correct one.
Its tidus as in TEE not tie. My sisters boyfriend fliped out at me when i said Tiedus so i say teedus.
