I sure wish they would make a new chrono cross game....![]()
the story's really nice. Oh and if you may have noticed I'm new here. But I'm very experienced with stuff like this.
Chrono Ressurection was a fan-based remake of Chrono Trigger in the all the majesty of 3D. SquareEnix issued a cease-and-desist letter and the project was canceled. The reason? SquareEnix is working on a remake of CT themselves for PS3! At least I wish...![]()
I think they'll probably make another one eventually, given how popular Trigger and Cross are, but it might be years. Or it might just never happen at all.
You would think they would remake it or AT LEAST give us a real sequel ( no chrono cross was not a true sequel ), or a movie...
I mean c'mon CT is just as popular or more than FF7...
Ironicly, there was one going to be made, or was cancelled during minimal work. It was titled Chrono Break. Square even put a copy write on the title which has to mean something, in the least anyway.
I never played CC, but why isn't it a true sequal? From what I gathered it followed along nicely after Radical Dreamers or whatever.
And Crash... that was quite annoying -_-
It had nothing to do with Radicle Dreamers. There are way too many differences for them to be linked in anyway.
It was, but wasn't. Chrono Trigger was a story about the world, and Chrono Cross was about a specific part of that world, and with the rift usage for the dimentional changes wasn't a complete port of any CT idea. So they are related, but not a true relation.
I suppose I'd have to play to understand. But I know Radical Dreamers had Kid and a dude that looked like Magus. So I know its in there somewhere. Whether its all AU or not, they're deffinitely related
Characters, yes. And it is based on the CC sub-plot of Linx. But other than that, it is just another story with the same characters.
