Hmm. I actually put my thumb and forefinger together and do a sort of fast left to right motion over the square button, while holding the controller in place with my left hand.

Gets the GF boost meter up hecka fast, but on occasion I end up forgetting about that stupid red 'x', and the meter resets down to 40 or whatever it was. >.<

As for outside uses....um....? I'm able to give better noogies?

I've developed the same technique that Chipher explained. It's really fast indeed, and lets me boost early GFs to sometimes more than 200%. It has however not affected my real life in any way, except giving me callouses.

I have developed a sort of trance wherein I stare at the screen unblinking using my left forefinger to brush the button at high speeds, stopping only at reds. This can cause severe blindness during Eden.
It can raise the first 2 to about 150. It also cause severe burning pain, and in one case bleeding.
