-Characters
-Prologue
-Battle
-Some understanding of the story
I agree that you have to play the game, but when you've found that perfect game, that plateu (FFX/X-2 for me) it's REALLY hard for a game in which you don't like the characters/prologue/battle to be better.
So yes, I understand where she's coming from.

ffx-2 is probably one of the best offline ff ever made (my opinion,don't hurt me!!) but hopefully if ffx-3 comes out you can get a decent game of blitzball
