Takeing a more psychological approach, Yuna is possesed (by the Rogue protesters new technology called "Xaphe", "Xaphe" is also responsible for the disturbance of the Fayth) and may be quite unruly to both her foes and may even take a try at killing her friends, whilst Rikku has found the castle has many Al-Bhed glyphs and Kryptions linked cliche but thoughtfully to her past and machina creation, and Paine is being stalked by the castle itself.

the main object, to escape death and find out the origins of this possible Spira massacre... will they make it?, will they make it home?

I don't think Square really left much open for another sequel. I'd like it though...
