I'm not sure if X-3 would be a 'great' game. I personally think that FFX was a much fuller and detailed game than FFX-2. When it comes down to ratings, I'm sure FFX will go down in history as a better game.
However, that isn't to say that X-2 was not fun or entertaining. Back when I had the SNES as my main system I had FF2, FF3 and FF: Mystic Quest. Guess which one I played the most? Mystic quest. Why? Becuae it was easy and fun and wasn't an all-time-consuming game.
Does that mean FF:MQ was better than FF3 or FF2 for that matter? No way! I think that FF3 was one of the best games ever. I just think that FF:MQ was fun to play.
X-2 was the same thing for me. You could play it however you want, could finish it relatively quickly and not pull your hair out over it. I think I have 4 Iron Dukes now. I've still only played FFX 1 time. I just am dreading getting into another 125 hour game.
I think the debate here might be wether X-3 would be a true FF game and a legend, or just a fun game to play and have some fun at. I think that X-3 would definately fit into the latter category. Is that bad?

X-2 would have been a lot more fun, but there were some many things that did not need to be done.

nah they wont make a movie cos if they do ill sneak into SE HQ and use my awesome ninja skills to grotte uematsu!!! plus SE are poor now, afterall ff:ACs dont grow on trees....lol
Square Enix could not be poor, Kingdom Hearts 2 Came out in Japan, tons of people bought it along with buying FFVII AC that came out last year to them.
