The reason why i feel more people say WoW is better is because its more casual and you can log in whenever you feel like and do something. I however find it boring as i seen many people say alot of the things are too damn easy to do, and FFXI doesnt reward laziness at all. FFXI is much more hardcore and more deep than WoW IMO, and requires much more teamwork and strategy to get the things done, and hence much more reward factor. Its also not centered on PvP and is much more on interaction between others and you.
very very true i like ff11 a lot better then wow for that reason
