My native language is (British) English and I'm learning French and Japanese. I used to be able to speak some Polish but I can only remember odd words although I can get the gist of a conversation (if I'm lucky)

I am from america and I am learning Spanish, but it is the same deal here. Japanese is one that lots of teens(or at least in the major cities) want to learn it. I would like to learn it also.

I've studied American Sign Language, though that's not really foriegn.. I would like to learn other languages, but it's a lot of effort for little use. I have other things I need to focus my study time on.

English (Australian), Cantonese are the only two I know fluently ( but saying that I speak fluent cantonese may be a bit of a stretch)

In school, I took a semester of French, two years of Classical Latin, one semester of Classical Greek and four years of German. I can't remember any of it.

I speak English. I know a few basics in French and German though, and only a few - even though I studied them for 3 years. ;(

I speak English(British), 3 years worth of French. (J'habite a la maison!) and a tiny amount of Spanish. We did it as a Second language for a year but it was hardly anything as usually our Spanish lesson was taken over by French
