At work, so I can't look, but I believe it was 1999.

See. I'm not crazy... I was actually really pissed when I bought it, after I realized the version I had heard was not on the album.

It's almost exactly the same. The girl singing doesn't have that different a voice from Gwen Stefani.

I beg to differ.. Been awhile since I heard it, but recall alot of cringing going on whilst the song was playing.

"Hollaback Girl", "Luxurous", and "Harajuku Girls" are probably my favorites.

Gwen Stefani can be hot if she just let's her hair loose like in the "Luxurious" video. I hate it when she messes with it and comes up with all of these disgusting styles. Damn. Like in Pharrell's video for "Can I Have It Like That?" where it looked like she had a damn skunk on her head...

Probably what happened was that Play was released in 1999 with the other singer and then Moby and Gwen did their version in 2000. Upon discovering that it was better, they did another release of Play with Gwen in 2000.

The only two songs that I have heard of hers (besides no doubt) are Hollaback girl and luxurious. Both songs make me want to cause myself bodily harm. They are Terrible, that's right... in bold and with a capital T.

Isn't that what I suggested above?

I'm not sure if I like her anymore. No Doubt was pretty good, but I don't really like the kind of music she's putting out now. It's catchy and fun, but I don't think I'll be buying any cds.
