My only other guess is ultros then, you meat in chaos at the airship, the first time you meat him you loose sabin, no idea about the rest of it.

Another hint, since my riddle is apparently particularly hard:
The first section refers to the fact that the answer is actually supposed to be a mythological character. The second section gives a specific location in which you can find this person/place/thing.
