I will have a riddle up by tonight.

    Lonely oh so lonely.
Only her music will comfort me.
    Lonely oh so lonely.
A veteran at arms, but what does it matter.

    Lonely oh so lonely.
If only she could walk with me.
    Empty oh so empty.
See the avian wonders speak for me.

    Nay.
EDIT:Also, in general, my answers are not usually very distinguished characters. It's not likely than an answer to one of my riddles will be a playable character. I am careful to put a lot of though into my riddles, and although they may seem cryptic, they are still easily solvable.

Major Hint: There is an underlying clue within the riddle.

See the avian wonders speak for me.

    Lola's boyfriend.

If that is correct, the line that tipped me off was see the avian wonders speak for me. That's talking about the messenger pigeons that give letters back and forth. Also because he's a soldier, he's a "veteran at arms". But he doesn't really care about soldiers and just wants to go home 2 his gf. The rest is just about how he's heart broken over something...

The answer, i believe, is Lola's boyfriend.

    That is correct!

The main reason for the recurring lines was to spell out Lola and Lies by putting together the first letters of each line. Lies refers to Cyan's deception of Lola.
You were right about the veteran and avian parts

Only her music will comfort me.
Lola sends her boyfriend a record if you do the sidequest.
If only she could walk with me.
The soldier cannot walk, so you have to deliver the letters for him.

    hi
i see this is one of the most popular and most read threads so I'd thought I'd be more likely to get an answer here. Could someone inform me where I might be able to purchase FFVI and on what console?
