I just got FFIV Advance, and the twins turned into statues. Later I noticed that if I go up to them, I can give them an item. Is there something I'm supposed to give them??

No, they're supposed to be like that.......for now
Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

You know what would be awesome...Palom and Porom bookend mini statuettes!
This is probably a remnant of the old FF III system in which you could walk up to people and give them items by pressing the B button. However, all you can do here is try to give them a Gold Needle, and watch how it doesn't work because the twins have turned themselves into stone by their own will.

Nothing will affect them, with exception to the Dummy item, which only says "D"...
Although, You are playing FFIV advance, so since I've heard of users talking about them, It would be safe to assume they would appear once before going to the moon...]
...when, how, and what do I have to do to get back my characters? I can't stand Edge! Does Tellah come back?!

Oops just gave away the hovercar!
"Swordchucks Yo." - Fighter
"Every time I cast Hadoken it siphons a little bit of love out of the world to create a massive destructive explosions. They say the divorce rate goes up with each cast." - BM
How many swords could sword chucks chuck if sword chucks could chuck swords? Same goes with Nuns! :rolleyes2
"I cast Ice-9!" -RM
"I can steal stuff that isn't even there" -Thief (Yet he can't steal in the game)
No, it's III, believe me. There is a point where the game doesn't progress unless you give Elia a potion.Originally Posted by DJZen
I don't know if you also can do this in FF II, I haven't played it yet.
