Wait, it is Necronopticous..
creepy..
The site loads like a bitch.
They ask for personal info? Oh your real name and stuff. That's because your 'name' goes under your username, I constantly change my real 'name' and puts things like "I like Tacos" or something really stupid. That's the only thing I can think of that they ask that is personal though. > oOriginally Posted by black orb
It loads like a dream when you get a subscription. =[Originally Posted by Genji
There's none, it just gets resized for a preveiw and then you can have it as large as you want for the full veiw.Originally Posted by black orb
I'm getting alittle annoyed with DevArt right now though, apparently there's been alot of freak outs because mod's will take down fan art that isn't properlly acknoledged with a copyright symbol stating that the design is someone elses and the art is yours. Plus, alot of people are getting annoyed because you apparently arn't allowed to draw -any- person under the age of 18 in explicit anything. Some guy had drawn fan art of Kim Possible being huggy on Shego and DevArt took it down because it was of a minor, regardless if Kim Possible doesn't exist. The Admins are just getting stuck up. e e

deviantART has some amazing artists on their site. If I want to feel inspired, I'll go and browse through some galleries there. But I find it hard to get much feedback on the site because there are soooooo many users and soooooo many works being uploaded everyday, that it's almost impossible to get genuine critiques and comments there. Also, all the drama and politics that goes on is annoying too. Especially when the more established artists on the site start bagging on each other.
I'd prefer a smaller art community that's a bit more focused and less ginormous and scattered.
SheezyArt is smaller and is trying to gear towards putting newer artists in the spotlight.
Which is hard, and their automated frontpage system isn't perfect (There are numourous complaints of the low quality of some pieces that get there), but it's a hell of a lot easier to get noticed.
I've had a SheezyArt account for a year or so now, but I'm not going to post it because I don't use it very often and what's already up there is old and crappy.
